May and June

I kind of got way behind in posting pics for the last 2 months, so I thought I would just put them on here in no particular order. We had a very crazy month of May and it didn't let up at all in June. We had recitals, graduations, plays, baseball games, visitors, birthdays, not to mention all the temple stuff, scout camp, girls camp, EFY, Inservice meetings and then just the every day riga-ma-roll. Ha ha is that a word. Needless to say its been busy, but we have still managed to have some fun! :) So hang on and enjoy the excitement of our lives! LOL!

Arizona is HOT! 'We're not in Wyoming anymore!' We love the pool it helps to keep us cool and lets us enjoy the out of doors.
We were trying to see how high we could stack it. Three was as high as we could go!

We all wanted to play!

We went to the Gila River to catch some fish and to play in the water. Mike was messing around and knocked down a birds nest from under the bridge and 3 baby birds fell into the river. The kids were so upset that Mike had destroyed the baby birds home that they were calling him a murderer etc. When we got home Hailey went up to Mike and said "Thank you daddy for making those baby birds come down and see me. I love those baby birds." She was pretty happy with her dad when no one else was.

Jacob enjoying a mud bath!

We celebrated Conner's 11th birthday in June. I can't believe you are that old. We love you CT.

Happy 9th Birthday Kaitlyn! You are turning into such a beautiful and amazing young lady! We love you!

In May, Brauk graduated from preschool. He did such a good job this past year learning all his letters, numbers and other stuff. We are so proud of you! I can't believe he'll be off to kindergarten.

Brauk and his teacher Mrs. Norton. She did such a good job and Brauk really enjoyed her class. Thank you Mrs. Norton!

During the beginning of May, Darin and Carly and family came for a visit. We were able to go through the Gila Valley Temple Open House with them. We enjoyed spending time with them and love that they come see us. We were able to enjoy the pool, sunshine, late night bike rides and just hanging out. Thanks Darin, Carly, Mason, and Landon. We love you guys!

The family after Josh, Conner, and Kaitlyn's piano recital. I have still not been able to post Joshua's piece. Trouble in computer land! He played "Waterfall" by John Schmidt memorized. He worked so hard on it for about 4 months. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication, Josh. Good Job

One of the kid's favorite things to do is play on the flooded high school football field that is right behind our house. This is how they water the field. Brauk and Hailey love it!

I thought this was such a cute pic of my two beautiful girls! And you're right I didn't do their hair. Maybe someday....aah probably not! Thanks Aunt Carly!

The 5th graders put on two end of the year plays. Conner was a cow in one and Old King Cole in the other. He did such a great job, very funny! He received many compliments afterward. He also received the 'Best Actor' award at the end of the year awards assembly. He makes his family proud!

Old King Cole!

We had the privlege to have one of the institute students stay with us for a week. Between the end of school and the temple cultural celebration. Adam Conte was a wonderful blessing to have in our home for so many reasons, but to the kids it came down to him teaching them the HAKA.

Temple Cultural Celebration

Josh and his dance partner Mckenzie Despain at the Temple Cultural Celebration. They both had a great time and were matched up perfectly.

This is the end of the big band number. Josh is right smack in the middle if you find the guy laying down and go straight up from his head past the girl in the blue skirt, Josh is right above her standing up with his arms out and a big smile:)

Our good friend David Palmer took these pics of Mike, Conner and Kaitlyn (who is too short to be seen) at the Temple Cultural Celebration, when they met the prophet.

One of the most special experiences of the night was when President Monson put his hand on Kaitlyn's face and said to her, "you're a beautiful little girl". This picture taken by our friend will now hang on Kaitlyn's wall in her room as a reminder.

We were not allowed to video Josh dancing at the actual celebration, so instead recorded one of the many practices. Josh loved every minute of the dancing and singing! It was a very memorable experience for him one he won't soon forget.
