Winter Formal

Joshua went on his 1st date and 1st high school dance with Courtney Cook. She is a senior and the co captain of the cheerleaders and was also nominated Queen of the dance.  He had such a blast going with her and the group of seniors that made up their group.  It was the perfect first date!  For their day date the girls did a scavenger hunt that took them all over the valley; giving roses to the people at the rest home to the girls shaving the guys faces.  The girls really showed them how much fun dating can be with a little planning and not so much money.  It was a good time!

Exchanging corsages and boutiners.

You look Marvelous!

This group was so fun!

Gorgeous couple!

Dinner at the Cook's was delicious.

November

On Veteran's Day we took the kids on a hike up the mountain to hopefully see some fall leaves.  Unfortunately, we missed it by a couple of weeks and the leaves had already fallen. The hike we went on was one that we took on our trek pushing the handcarts.  It was fun to remember the good times and also the tough ones.  It was a beautiful day!

We found one tree with the changing leaves on the side of the road.

For Thanksgiving this year, the Palmer's invited us to spend it with their extended family.  It was a great day with yummy food and fun times on the 4 wheelers.

Brauky finally lost his other front tooth just in time for Christmas.

Joshy's sweet 16 party.  We did a throwback to his 5 year old party with superman as the theme instead of spiderman.  The kids were good sports and had fun. We played pin the S on superman's chest.

The candy, roll the dice get doubles, put everything on and try to unwrap the present game.

Cade was a little aggressive and broke my spoon.

We played run and blow up the balloon and pop it relay game.

And of course tie the balloon to the ankle and stomp on it game.  Things are a little louder and more crazy when they are 16 year olds instead of a house full of 5 year olds.

Happy 16th Birthday Joshy!  You are an awesome young man and we are so proud of who you are.  We love you!

Ready to trick or treat!

For young men and young women's we had a Halloween trick or treating service night.

Our cute neighbor Tanner Smith was a rattle snake.  With fangs and a rattle. It was so awesome!

Jackson was a monkey, Tanner a rattle snake, and Wyatt a bug.  Love these boys!
