She had a wire poking out that was hurting her cheek so Mike tried to put wax on it hoping it would help.  It was quite the ordeal.

July

In July we took our vacation to see our family. Our first stop was to visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Griffiths. Grandpa is 88 and Grandma is 86.  They are still doing well.  It was so good to see them.

In Idaho some of the Mike's extended family came for a visit too.  We all rode tubed down the Cube river in Preston Idaho.

We found a rope swing at one of the lakes and had some fun.

Chimney Rock

This is the headstone of "Wee Granny" who dictated to her son in Utah "Tell John I died with my face toward Zion" I loved that!  All we need to do is keep our face toward Zion no matter where we are on the path back home.  Just keep facing Christ and we'll be alright.

Gurnsey Ruts.  To remember the impact of the small day to day or mundane things in our lives.  Like, daily scripture study, prayer, regular temple attendance.  How after time these are the things that make us who we are and keep us on the right path.
