What we've been up to...

Mike surprised me with a weekend getaway to see Wicked in El Paso Texas. We went with a group of friends and had a great time!

Jacob's first pinewood derby where he finished with a 3rd place. Way to go!

Hailey brought home her friend scruffy from school. She had to do stuff with it and then write about it in Scruffy's storybook. She had me take all kinds of pics of her and Scruffy together. Here is just one of the many. Hailey and Scruffy riding the scooter.

Thatcher Eagle basketball! Josh and Conner both made their grades basketball team. They had a lot of fun and did a great job.

Both teams had a great season. The 8th grade team which is pictured below won the 8th grade championship and the 7th grade team(pic didn't turn out) took 2nd place out of the 7th grade teams. Way to go boys!

Kaitlyn played city league basketball and made the all star team. She did awesome for her first time ever playing the sport. The all-star team.

This is what the girls woke up to on Valentine's Day. Mike really out did himself.

We love you Daddy!!

Happy Birthday Jacob Brady! He turned 9 years old.

This is our first day of spring break. Yes that is snow and a lot of it!

The kids enjoying the snow.

Happy Birthday Brauky. The big 7 year old.

During spring break, we made a trip to the Tucson Zoo. It's a lot like the Hogle Zoo in Utah. We had a good time. My little peoples had never been to the zoo before, so it was fun for them to see the animals. (As you can see the snow didn't last very long).

An anteater, I had never seen a real one. They were pretty interesting to watch.

Hailey loved this squirrel it would eat out of her hand.

The squirrel looks like its visiting with Hailey.

Gigantic turtles that didn't move unless the were sprayed with water.

It was so funny, when we were driving to the zoo the kids were all talking about the animal they wanted to see, lions, elephants, giraffes, etc. Brauk pipes up with he just wants to see an otter. The whole family is like what. They probably won't even have an otter. We all thought very random. Anyway here's the otter and it turned out to be everyone's favorite. It was very entertaining.
Rhino in the background.

Jacob earned his wolf badge. Proud mother!

Josh received 3 metals from his 1st track meet. Two golds in shot put and discus and a bronze in the long jump.
Conner, Kaitlyn and Hailey infront of the stage for the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple. The Easter Pageant protrays the life of Christ. It was a neat experience for our family to see it.

On the temple grounds.

The Mesa Temple is so beautiful with tons of flowers and green grass, it smells so good!

Waiting for it to get dark.

Hailey infront of the beautiful flowers.

More waiting..
Some of the actors from the play...a Jewish leader.

A Roman soldier

Jacob playing with the camera.

Brauk with his colored eggs.

Hailey and her eggs.
The kids colored Easter eggs.

Kaitlyn ready for church. Beautiful Girl!
