April

 

It's that time of year again, mowing lawns or vacuuming lawns in Kaitlyn's case.  This yard had so many gravel rocks on it that it would beat up the blade on the mower, so Mike had Kaitlyn suck up the rocks so they could mow.  She was so embarassed.

 

Hailey cleaned up Kaitlyn's room and left this note on her bed she didn't want her to know who it was from but gave it away by signing it 'love your sister Conner.'

Kaitlyn did Hailey's makeup and hair and then dressed her up and took pictures. So fun!

Josh got his first official job as a 16 year old working at Kainoa's.  He loves the money, but doesn't love the work.

Brauk has a nose twitch he as been doing for a while that looks just like a bunny's twitch so we had to get a pic with his buddy.

 



Jake shot a bunny the day before Easter, we told him we hoped the Easter bunny would still come to our house after killing one of his friends.

Conner and Josh both received the Spirit of THS award for being kind, respectful, and a good representative of Thatcher High School.

He placed 4th his personal best with a time of 4:59 in the mile.  We are so proud of him!



Mike and the boys hit a javelina coming home from the father and sons outing.  It wasn't dead but injured pretty bad, so Mike got out and tried to smash its head with a rock to put it out of its misery.  It took him a few tries which traumatized and scarred our kids for life.

 



 

Kaitlyn playing club volleyball.  She had a great season and learned alot.

 



This year they started a basketball league for the younger kids and Brauk got to join.  He did so good and it was a blast watching him.

 

Josh took Maddie Windsor to Prom.  He had a great time and really enjoyed the people in his group.
